Terms of service
Last updated October 16, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Ready Development (Toronto), which runs Card Radar ("we", "us"). By using Card Radar or creating an account, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
1. What Card Radar is
Card Radar compares the prices of trading card singles at Canadian stores. We collect prices from the stores' public listings each morning.
- Prices can be wrong or out of date. Stores change prices and sell out during the day, and a listing can occasionally be matched to the wrong version of a card. Always check the price, condition, version and stock on the store's own site before you buy.
- We don't sell cards. Any purchase is between you and the store, under that store's terms. We aren't responsible for a store's products, shipping, returns or service.
- We aren't affiliated with the stores we list or with any game publisher.
- Market prices, collection values and price history are information only, not financial or investment advice.
2. Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to create an account, and to use a real email address that you can confirm.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- One account per person.
3. Using Card Radar fairly
Please don't:
- copy Card Radar's data in bulk, or access it with bots, scrapers or other automated tools;
- resell or republish Card Radar's price data;
- try to break, overload or get around the security or plan limits of Card Radar;
- use Card Radar for anything illegal, or to harass anyone;
- give your Premium account to other people to use.
4. Free and Premium
Card Radar is free to use, with the limits shown on the Premium page. Premium is a paid subscription that adds more features and higher limits.
- Billing: Premium is billed in Canadian dollars, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor, Stripe. Any applicable taxes are added at checkout.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, charging the payment method on file, until you cancel.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time from Account → Manage billing. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again.
- Price changes: if the price of Premium changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first if you want to.
- Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, Stripe will try again for a while; if it still can't be paid, Premium ends.
- Refunds: see our cancellation and refund policy.
- We may add, change or remove features over time. We won't take away a core part of Premium in the middle of a period you've paid for without offering a refund for the rest of it.
- If Premium ends, everything you've saved stays; you just can't add more than the Free limits allow.
5. What you create
Your decks, watchlists and collections are yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to you, and, if you share a deck publicly, to show it to anyone who has the link. You're responsible for the names and notes you add; please keep them lawful and respectful.
6. Our content and others'
Card Radar's website, software, design and original artwork belong to us. Card names, card images and game logos belong to their owners (listed at the bottom of every page) and are shown only to identify the cards. Card data comes from the sources credited there.
7. No guarantees
We work hard to keep Card Radar accurate and running, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise that prices, stock, matches or values are always correct or up to date, or that Card Radar will always be available or error-free.
8. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as money spent on a card at a price that turned out to be different, a missed deal, or lost profits. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.
9. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account page; deleting it also cancels any Premium subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without you having broken these terms, or if we shut Card Radar down, we'll refund the unused part of any Premium period you've paid for.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll email signed-up users before it takes effect. If you keep using Card Radar after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree with them, you can cancel and delete your account.
11. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you're a consumer living in another province, you also keep the protections of your own province's consumer laws.
